Where to kiss the first night on Maui

To begin this blog series, I would like to introduce you to Elizabeth and Jack. I met them while they were here scouting for beach front wedding locations.  They wanted a wedding at sunset where they could enjoy the cool breezes and tropical surroundings and sounds of the ocean crashing in the background.

What I quickly learned is that this was going to be a second wedding for them and that this was going to be a bonding of two families with lots of kids. This time they had on Maui needed to be special and relaxing, for the two of them, as they were on maui for such a short visit. I suggest that if they could carve out an hour from their busy planning  schedule that I would give them something that they would not soon forget.

The best place to kiss the first night on Maui is: On the beach in front of where ever you are staying. This may sound strange but you will be tired from traveling typically hungry and excited at the same time. Take some time to set your vacation off on the correct foot. Grab something to drink and take your lover, by the hand, to the beach just before sunset. Spend an hour reflecting on all the time and effort that you have spent to get to paradise, and make sure to say how important you are to each other.

I was able to get Elizabeth and Jack to relax and cherish a moment on the beach in front of their hotel. And, this is a small sample of those memories. If you want to see more images please visit www.KarlBradford.SmugMug.com and look for the best places to kiss folder.

I wanted to share with you what Elizabeth had written to me: "Jack and I would like to thank you so much for the phenomenal job you did with our engagement pictures! We weren't expecting them so soon, so needless to say we were ecstatic to find that they were waiting for us to view as we were reaching the airport.  We absolutely love how they turned out, and we can't wait to work with you again!
We can't thank you enough for giving us this great experience, and capturing memories that we will treasure forever! Thank you :-)"

This is one of the best aspect of photography, but the most important aspect is that you enjoy the moments while you are on Maui. Sometimes you may have to plan ahead but make sure that on the first night after you arrive on island - spend the sunset with a passionate kiss on the closest beach that you can find. Please comment and email me photos of your best places to kiss on Maui - Studio@KarlBradford.com. And as we say -
Mahalo for your Aloha.
